The project was a high complexity tilt up design and detailing project using REVIT for the BIM platform for coordination with the steel fabricator. The 172,000 sq ft footprint housed a three story classroom wing, gymnasiums and performing arts. Load bearing concrete tilt up panel wall systems were used to resist gravity and lateral shear forces. The interior shaft walls provided lateral resistance for the building as well. A portion of the project required the panels to retain soil adding to the complexity of the design. Insulated panels with either a painted exterior surface or cast in brick was used on the exterior of the building.
